The Nikon 10-24 triggers now from my Tokina 12-24.
My first photos show me that the money is well spent.
The main differences:

10 instead of 12 (probably real even 13mm) means 20-30% more distance. And gehts primarily at wide angle lenses.
No Backlight problem:
The Tokina was really bad “against the sun,” it collects in the bottom 12mm bold orange stain because unstop only helped partially up to 15 mm.

Currently I get the abridged Cokin P-frame 12mm Nikon at no shade. Be still a little fine-tuning. The Tokina was only 15mm. I will now hopefully the times Grauverlaufsfilter can use.
Otherwise, the 10-24 feels very similar to the 18-200 Nikkor.
